Off Site Activities

For horse racing enthusiasts there are race courses at Salisbury, Wincanton, Bath and Taunton and golfers can practice their swing near Salisbury and Warminster. Trout fishing and other country pursuits like deer stalking and shooting can be arranged nearby.

For rambling, guided walking, horse riding and cycling there is a good network of bridle and footpaths in the area whilst boating along the famous Kennet and Avon Canal and ballooning near Bath are popular and relaxing pastimes.
