Around Hindon

Hindon is an unspoilt village with a wealth of local history dating back to 1220. Salisbury with its noted cathedral and well preserved city centre is within an easy driving distance. Other attractions in the nearby area include Stonehenge, Wilton, Longleat, Stourhead House and Gardens, Old Wardour Castle and Cranborne Chase. With its secluded valleys, peaceful woodlands, underground water grottos and lakes much of the Wiltshire County has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
